Traditional System

Spray Operators currently record IRS activites on a log sheet. Supervisors aggregate these data by hand on paper before entering them into a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is emailed to the National Malaria Control Centre where multiple districts are aggregated by cutting and pasting from seperate files.
mSpray System

In contrast, mSPRAY applies software validation tests during data entry reducing data entry errors. All data is spatially collected and therefore provides enumeration details for future spray activities. Data is then transmitted electronically without any modifications to the central level where data from different districts are electronically combined, further reducing the introduction of errors, into a database.
